    Day 1

    day 1 TOKYO ARRIVAL

    Arrive in Tokyo. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Evening at leisure to soak in the metropolitan vibe of this great Japanese city. Overnight at your hotel.

    Day 2

    day 2 EXCURSION TO MT. FUJI , LAKE ASHI & ROPEWAY TO MT. KOMAGATAKE

    Breakfast at hotel. Today you head for an epic excursion to the famous Mt. Fuji (7607 feet / 2305 m). Visit the second-floor observation deck, that offers spectacular views of the mountain peak above, on clear days. Cruise on picturesque crater lake Ashi & take the ropeway to Mt. Komagatake and get a bird's eye view of nearby Hakone National Park. Return to Tokyo for overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 3

    day 3 TOKYO: SUMO STABLE, SENSO-JI TEMPLE, BOAT RIDE - HAMARIKYU GARDENS & TSUKIJI FISH MARKET

    Breakfast at hotel. Today you get to witness huge and powerful Sumo wrestlers, practice their skills at a Sumo Stable. Also visit, Asakusa (Senso-ji) - an ancient Buddhist temple. Then embark on a boat ride to see Hamarikyu Gardens and Tsukiji fish market. Optional extra: Later in the evening, get to explore the tech side of Japan in an artistic cabaret show by robots! Return to hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 4

    day 4 BULLET TRAIN (SHINKANSEN) FROM TOKYO TO KYOTO

    Breakfast at hotel. Japan has one of the fastest & most efficient public transport systems in its bullet trains. Today, take a ride in a Bullet Train (Shinkansen) till Kyoto (the former capital of Japan). On arrival at Kyoto station, walk to your hotel located nearby and check-in for overnight stay. Optional extra: Learn about Samurai warrior culture in a one-hour Kembu show and a traditional sword performance.

    Day 5

    day 5 KYOTO: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE-LISTED KINKAKU-JI AND NIJO CASTLE

    Breakfast at hotel, followed by a tour of Kyoto's UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kinkaku-ji and Nijo Castle, along with the Imperial Palace. Then drive from Kyoto to Nara to explore another World Heritage Site - Todai-ji Temple (including Great Buddha Hall). Also, visit Kasuga Shrine and a deer park. The tour includes lunch - which lets you sample Japanese dishes. Later, return to your hotel in Kyoto for overnight stay.

    Day 6

    day 6 EXCURSION TO HIROSHIMA & MIYAJIMA TOUR (KYOTO TO OSAKA)

    Breakfast at hotel. Today your travel from Kyoto to the small but scenic island of Miyajima (meaning shrine island), known for the 16th century Itsukushima Shrine, usually depicted by its saffron-colored Tori Gate that seems to float on water. Later head to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum with its iconic Atomic Bomb dome that reminds mankind of the evils of war. Later take a cab to your hotel in Osaka & check-in for overnight stay.

    Day 7

    day 7 OSAKA SIGHTSEEING

    Breakfast at hotel, followed by a tour of Osaka city with a local. Get insights on chic neighborhoods from a local perspective. Visit the Osaka Castle, Sumiyoshi Shrine, Tennoji Park, Kuromon food market and even a ferris wheel - in this fun-filled short tour. Evening free at leisure to perhaps explore some nightlife. Later return to your hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 8

    day 8 OSAKA DEPARTURE

    Breakfast at hotel. Later, transfer to Kansai International airport of Osaka to catch your return flight.
