    Day 1

    day 1 ARRIVE LIMA, TRANSFERS TO THE HOTEL

    Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Lima.

    Day 2

    day 2 LIMA SIGHTSEEING

    After breakfast at the hotel, head for a tour through Lima's colonial streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, head to witness the clay adobe pyramids in Huaca Pucllana - the ceremonial centre of pre-Incan Lima culture. Then reach the Main Square to see the Government Palace and the Town Hall. Final leg of the tour includes visit to the Cathedral and the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors saints San Martin de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima. Overnight at your hotel in Lima. 

    Day 3

    day 3 LIMA - CUSCO FLIGHT, EVENING SIGHTSEEING OF CUSCO

    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. On arrival in Cusco, meet and greet and transfer to your hotel. Early afternoon embark on a tour to visit the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy panoramic view of the city. Then imagine how dazzling the gilded walls at the Qorikancha temple (Gold Enclosure in Quechua) would have been, before the Spanish conquest. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church located close by. Then take a walk from the artisans' neighbourhood of San Blas to the Hatun Rumiyoc street. On the way, stop at the Inca Roca Palace that is home to the Archbishop(s) Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone. Continue to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral to see its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces. Overnight at your hotel in Cusco.

    Day 4

    day 4 CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY

    After breakfast, head towards The Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit Awanacancha, a tourist complex where you can see and feed Andean llamas and Alpacas. Here you can also see locals weaving and dyeing traditional textiles. Then continue to Inca and Colonial Pisac. Discover one of the most beautiful archeological sites in the Sacred Valley. Located atop a mountain, it affords views of the colonial town of Pisac. The Machu Picchu has a similar setting, but is more breath-taking and you visit it next day. Your last leg includes a walking tour to the Colonial town. Visit the Inkariy Museum and learn about the cultural exhibits of pre-Hispanic civilizations of ancient Peru. Overnight stay is at a hotel in Urubamba.

    Day 5

    day 5 SACRED VALLEY SIGHTSEEING

    Breakfast at the hotel. Get set to explore the Sacred Valley of the mighty Incan empire. Visit the colossal concentric terraces resembling a coliseum at Moray. All this was hewn by hand on these lofty Andean hills. The terraces recreated 20 different types of microclimates, simply mind-boggling, and they were studied to ensure the agricultural production of the empire. Then head down to millennia old salt mines. The contrasting white salt pools against the green valley make for a stunning sight. Later return to your hotel. Overnight in Urubamba.

    Day 6

    day 6 SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU

    After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ollantaytambo station to board the train to Aguas Calientes station to get close to the Machu Picchu. Not only is Machu Picchu a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but also counted as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. At Aguas Calientes station you will be guided to board the coach to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, that affords a magnificent view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The lost city of the notable Incas, Machu Picchu, is an astonishing sight with its terraces, shrines, steps, and other built-up areas. Feel how the Incans would have built and worshipped at this remote place centuries ago. After a guided tour, lunch in one of the restaurants close to the area. Return to Aguas Calientes, where you check-in to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 7

    day 7 MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

    After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the station to catch train back to Cusco. The journey gives you another chance to enjoy the scenic route along the Urubamba river. Upon arrival in Cusco, transfer to you hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

    Day 8

    day 8 CUSCO DAY AT LEISURE

    Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore more of this historic city. Overnight to your hotel in Cusco.

    Day 9

    day 9 CUSCO - LIMA - TO CONNECT TO YOUR RETURN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Lima, to connect with your flight back home.
