    Day 1

    day 1 ARRIVE LIMA

    Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Lima.

    Day 2

    day 2 LIMA SIGHTSEEING

    After breakfast at the hotel, head for a tour through Lima's colonial streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, head to the Main Square to see the Government Palace and the Town Hall. Continue to the Cathedral and the Santo Domingo Convent, and walk to the Plaza de Armas to admire the exquisite colonial architecture. Next, enjoy a visit to the Chocolate Museum to learn about the high-quality of Peruvian cocoa, and on the way back, stop in the Parque del Amor, from where you can take beautiful photos of the Peruvian coastline. Overnight at your hotel in Lima.

    Day 3

    day 3 LIMA - PARACAS

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the bus station to embark on a scenic journey heading south along the Pacific coast to Paracas. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure to explore this small port town boasting of beautiful beaches and lots of wildlife too. Overnight stay at your hotel in Paracas.

    Day 4

    day 4 PARACAS - NAZCA

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today morning, take a boat to the Ballestas Islands to see hundreds of birds, native sea lions and seals in their natural habitat. The sight of Humboldt penguins in a non-polar region, will leave you awe-struck. Even more striking is the fact that from the boat itself you will be able to spot the famous Candelabra design, a figure of the Nazca culture engraved in the sandy desert nearby! Thereafter in the afternoon, transfer to the bus station to board a bus to Nazca. Check-in and overnight at your hotel in Nazca.

    Day 5

    day 5 NAZCA - AREQUIPA

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today you embark on a guided tour of the famed Nazca Lines - UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nazca is names after the ancient civilization that flourished here between 100 BC and 800 AD. Although today this is one of the driest places on earth, it has a history of being a wine growing region earlier. Nazca lines are basically art work made by depressions or shallow incisions in soil. The fact that these designs were made centuries ago, is truly awe-inspiring.

    Day 6

    day 6 AREQUIPA SIGHTSEEING

    Breakfast at hotel. Visit the sights of Arequipa including the Plaza de Armas, the Basilica Cathedral and the Monastery of St Catherine - known for its impressive construction style. Next, head to the beautiful Barrio del Solar to visit the Church of La Compañí­a de Jesús, a temple constructed with ashlar & volcanic stone. Overnight stay in Arequipa.

    Day 7

    day 7 AREQUIPA - CHIVAY - COLCA

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today, travel to the Colca Valley, Enroute, pass through the town of Yura, National Reserve of Aguada Blanca & Chivay (known as the gateway to the deep Colca canyon), with a stop in Patapampa (which literally means 'high flat place'). Colca is an ancient area dominated by sweeping valleys and is home to the famous giant Andean Condor. Overnight stay in Colca.

    Day 8

    day 8 COLCA CANYON - PUNO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today, you get to watch the Andean Condor take flight in the valley of Cruz del Condor. With an average wingspan of 9 feet, not only is this bird of prey huge, it is also part of local legend. After watching the birdlife, transfer from Colca to Puno, enroute passing by dramatic landscapes. Arrive in Puno, known as the place of the world-renowned Lake Titicaca. Overnight stay in Puno.

    Day 9

    day 9 PUNO TO LAKE TITICACA & UROS ISLAND

    Breakfast at the hotel. Later an excursion to Taquile & Uru/Uros Islands on the picturesque Lake Titicaca. Depart by boat to Taquile island, that dates back to pre-Inca times. The locals are famous for their vivid clothing - including knits, all made indigenously. On the same island, visit the community of Huayllano, where the locals show their traditional crafts and agriculture methods. Enjoy a traditional local lunch. Later, visit the island of Uros, situated in the middle of the national reserve of Lake Titicaca. Return to shore, and overnight stay in Puno.

    Day 10

    day 10 PUNO - CUSCO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Puno bus station to take a bus to Cusco. Pass through scenic South Valley of Cusco. Enroute visit Andahuaylas - a beautiful 17th-century church, featuring an impressively decorated organ. Continue on the road and visit the ruins of Racqui, also known as the ´Temple of the God Wiracocha. After lunch, continue the journey and pass through the highest point on the highway (18000 feet) and enjoy fantastic views of the landscape. Arrive in Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cusco.

    Day 11

    day 11 CUSCO SIGHTSEEING

    After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour. Begin in the iconic Plaza de Armas, and visit the Cathedral. Continue to San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy panoramic view of the city. Then Imagine how dazzling the gilded walls at the Qorikancha temple (Gold Enclosure in Quechua) would have been, before the Spanish conquest. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church located close by. Then take a walk from the artisans' neighborhood of San Blas to the Hatun Rumiyoc street. Overnight at your hotel in Cusco.

    Day 12

    day 12 CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

    After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ollantaytambo station to board the train to Aguas Calientes station to get close to the Machu Picchu. At Aguas Calientes station you will be guided to board the coach to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, which affords a magnificent view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. 

    The lost city of the notable Incas, Machu Picchu, is an astonishing sight with its terraces, shrines, steps, and other built-up areas. Feel how the Incans would have built and worshipped at this remote place centuries ago. After a guided tour, lunch in one of the restaurants close to the area. Return by train to Cusco. Overnight stay in Cusco.

    day 13 CUSCO AT LEISURE

    Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore more of this historic city. Overnight to your hotel in Cusco.

    day 14 DEPART CUSCO

    Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport, according to your flight departure time.
