day 1 DELHI ARRIVAL
Arrival at Delhi airport. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2
day 2 DELHI SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at hotel, head for a full day guided tour which includes visit to sights both in Old Delhi & New Delhi. Start in Raj Ghat at the memorial dedicated to the Mahatma Gandhi, then visit the imposing red sandstone fort called the Red Fort, followed by a ride in a cycle rickshaw in the crowded but interesting market of Chandni Chowk. Those interested can also opt for a ride in the modern Delhi Metro.
Second part of the tour will involve visiting New Delhi - including Lutyen's Delhi that comprises of the British colonial President's House, & a World War I memorial arch called India Gate. Later in the day visit Mughal emperor Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar (India's tallest stone tower) & a more modern Lotus Temple, so named because of its ornate shaped structure. After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Delhi.
Day 3
day 3 DELHI AT LEISURE
Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure. Later in the evening visit an Indian family to experience local culture, hospitality, a visit to the local market, followed by a home cooked dinner. After the entertaining evening, return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4
day 4 DELHI TO AGRA BY TRAIN
Transfer to railway station to catch your express train to Agra. You get your breakfast on the train. On arrival in Agra, pick-up from railway station & head to the impressive 16th century Agra Fort, made of red sandstone. After the visit, head to the hotel * check-in. Later in the evening head to the Taj Mahal. One of the Seven Wonders of the Word, the Taj Mahal stands tall as a pristine symbol of eternal love. View a beautiful sunset from the Taj Mahal. Later return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5
day 5 AGRA TO RANTHAMBORE BY ROAD
Breakfast at hotel. Option to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast. Thereafter embark on an approximate six-hour drive to Ranthambore. En route, visit the UNESCO World Heritage complex of Fatehpur Sikri, that was built in 16th century & abandoned later due to water scarcity. Continue to Ranthambore & check in at your hotel upon arrival. Evening free to spend at leisure. Overnight at your hotel near Ranthambore National Park.
Day 6
day 6 RANTHAMBORE
Early morning head for a safari drive in the park. The Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over an area of 150 square miles of thick forests. Your guide will help you spot Wild Boar, spotted Deer, Sambhar Deer, Nilgai (Indian antelope), Chinkara (Indian gazelle), Sloth Bear & some birds as well. If you are lucky, you will spot a Leopard or even the king of the jungle - the Tiger! Later, return to the hotel for breakfast. Thereafter you get another chance to spot the elusive tiger in an afternoon safari. After your second safari, return to your hotel for overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 7
day 7 RANTHAMBORE TO JAIPUR BY ROAD
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Jaipur by road (a journey of around 3.5 hours). Famously known as "The Pink city", due to the color of houses that were painted pale pink in 1853 to welcome the Prince of Wales. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. Early evening you will visit the Amer Fort to see the sound & light show - depicting the history & traditions of the regional Rajputana culture. Return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 8
day 8 JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING
Breakfast at hotel. Start your sightseeing with a visit to the Amer Fort, located on the outskirts. Built on a hilltop, this 16th century fort looks quite formidable with its imposing walls & ramparts. Thereafter, return to city limits to visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, Hawa Mahal (The palace of winds) & Jal Mahal (The palace on water). After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 9
day 9 JAIPUR TO DELHI BY ROAD. DELHI TO COLOMBO BY FLIGHT
After an early breakfast, travel back to Delhi by road in time to catch your flight to Sri Lanka. Arrive at Colombo airport and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10
day 10 KANDY SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, embark on a short city tour - See the old Parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), and visit Fort Bazaar. After the tour, transfer to Kandy. Enroute visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Get an opportunity to be one with the elephants including see them taking a bath & you can also feed the gentle giants with your own hands. On arrival in Kandy, check-in at your hotel. In the evening, you will witness a traditional cultural dance show.
Day 11
day 11 KANDY TO NUWARA ELIYA BY ROAD
Breakfast at hotel followed by an early morning visit to a World Heritage Site - the sacred Temple of the (Buddha's) Tooth Relic. Later travel by road through mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations. On arrival, proceed to tour a tea plantation and tea factory. Later check-in and overnight at your hotel in cool Nuwara Eliya.
Day 12
day 12 NUWARA ELIYA TO BENTOTA BY ROAD
Breakfast at hotel, followed by drive to the sun-kissed beaches of Bentota. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure or indulging in water-sports activities. Overnight at your hotel in Bentonta.
Day 13
day 13 BENTOTA SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
Breakfast at hotel, followed by a unique tour that includes a boat ride along the Madhu River. Pass many islets forested with mangroves & feel one with nature. A visit to a Turtle Hatchery will charm you with the new born turtle hatchlings. (Entrance fees to sites not included). Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 14
day 14 BENTOTA
Breakfast to hotel. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 15
day 15 BENTOTA TO COLOMBO BY ROAD - COLOMBO DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel. Depending upon flight time, transfer to Colombo airport to catch your flight back to home.
